Fears for the welfare of Amy Winehouse heightened today after the star was pictured in the Sun newspaper apparently smoking a crack pipe.
The 24-year-old singer has reportedly been in and out of rehab battling drug addiction.
However video footage obtained by the Sun, if authentic, shatters any hope that she is on the road to recovery.

The video allegedly shows the 'Rehab' singer indulging in a 19 minute drug binge during which she appears to light a crack pipe before sucking up the fumes.
The Sun claimed the troubled star had already taken cocaine, ecstasy and Valium, before picking up the glass pipe.
The video was said to have been taken at the star's East London home, which appears pokey and barren - a far cry from the luxury apartments of her pop contemporaries.
As the camera rolls the singer plays with her mobile and walks around her flat talking croakily and looking for her kitten.
Seeming confused, she then sits down to smoke in front of what looks like a photograph from her wedding to Blake Fielder-Civil.
The Sun claimed those close to the singer fear for her safety.
'Her family and her few real friends have begged her to pull herself from the brink many times,' the friend told the newspaper.
'But here is proof she has pressed the self-destruct button.
'Her fans would scarcely recognise the drug-addled wreck in the video as the talented performer they love. We can only pray she will get a wake-up call when she watches the video herself and sees the terrible state she is in.'
The footage was reportedly shot at a house party the star held the night before she went to court to support her husband, Mr Fielder-Civil, who is currently facing criminal charges for assault and conspiracy.
Winehouse arrived at Snaresbrook Crown Court last Friday looking unsteady on her feet, and at times had to be supported by her mother-in-law.
She blew several kisses at her husband before shouting: 'I love you handsome, gorgeous one.'
The singer's erratic performances at the end of last year, following the cancellation of her tour, led to fears about her health.
Her father Mitch said in October that he was so concerned about his daughter he wrote a eulogy he expected to deliver at her funeral.
The beehived-singer, daughter of a north-London taxi driver, found critical acclaim and chart success with Back to Black and has won both Brit and Mobo awards.

New video footage has emerged of Brooke Mueller seemingly smoking crack cocaine while making a $1,500 drug deal.

The shocking footage apparently dates from before the socialite was placed on psychiatric hold back in May, and before she lost custody of her four-year-old twins.
The video is shot at night and sees the 36-year-old wrapped in a brown dressing gown with her hair unkempt and loose.
Brooke clearly knows exactly what she is doing, with the video showing her holding a lighter to the pipe then inhaling deeply before blowing out the smoke.

The video emerged onRadar online,who spoke to a source present when it was shot.
'Brooke loved getting high,' the source told the website. 'This was just another crazy night of her getting high. When she did drugs, it was three to four times a week.
'I know that she is aware that if she doesn’t stop doing drugs, she is going to lose her kids [for good]… hopefully she can stop.'

For the past four months the former Florida socialite has been cleaning up in rehab, first at the Betty Ford Center and then at a facility in Orange County.
It was her 21st stay in a rehab facility and came after Brooke overdosed on crystal meth.
When Brooke entered rehab she was considered no longer fit to take care of sons Max and Bob, whose father is Charlie Sheen, 48.

His first wife Denise Richards, 42, started taking care of the boys, along with the two girls, Sam, nine, and Lola, eight, she had with the actor, and the daughter Eloise, two, she adopted.

The troubled mother has reportedly been fighting to regain custody of her sons.
She is currently allowed supervised twice weekly visits.

Sheen is reportedly considering moving Brooke into the exclusive neighbourhood where both he and Denise live.
Radar claims this potential move is to enable the father-of-five to be near all four children that he shares with the two exes.

The area that the intertwined exes are sharing is the elite, expensive LA neighborhood called Mulholland Estates which is at the top of a winding road that divides the City of LA with the San Fernando Valley. Home prices are in the several millions.
Brooke is said to be keen to live nearby, having occupied the estate while married to Sheen.
