Worn Out Garage Door Rollers. Garage door rollers that have worn out may also cause clicking sounds from the opener. In addition, there may be a grinding noise when the door is opened and closed. According to the website 513 Garage Door, rollers have an average life span of 15,000 cycles, and if you open and close the door roughly 7 times a day. When it rains heavily on the door, water is retained between the panels so when you open the door the next day, water pours down into the garage. The installers have tried to fix it twice without success. Gliderol says it is acceptable for a garage door to do this as a garage is a wet area so water falling into the garage should not be a problem.

Garage door openers use a system of springs, sensors, pulleys and tracks to automatically open and close your garage door. These systems usually operate with little difficulty, but occasionally, you may find your garage door opens too slowly. The speed setting on the opener itself may require adjustment, or if you haven’t lubricated the door’s tracks, hinges and rollers, the door may stick and slow it down.
Set up a stepladder under the opener and climb until you can easily access the mechanism.
Press the tabs on either side of the access panel on the opener, and tilt up or down to remove the panel.
Check the setting of opener speed. Most new garage door openers are preset to the lowest setting at the factory. This can be adjusted by hand. There should be a screw that sets this speed. If it is set to its lowest speed, turn it higher using a flat-head screwdriver.
Replace the access panel and step down from the ladder.
Open and close the door to check the speed. If it is operating properly, then the speed setting was the problem. If it is not operating correctly, the door may need lubrication.
Close the garage door. Wipe away grease and grime buildup on all hinges, rollers and roller pins with a damp cloth.
Apply two drops of penetrating oil to the seams of the hinges. Squeeze the oil onto the tops of the seams so it drips down into the seams. Use a stepladder to reach upper hinges.
Apply two drops of penetrating oil into the seams of the roller mount brackets and onto the roller pins. The roller pins are in the roller mount brackets, which are located on the door.
Move the ladder to one side of the door and climb high enough to reach the track easily.
Apply six drops of oil on the track, beginning about one foot from the curve of the track.
Move the ladder to the other side of the door and apply six drops of penetrating oil to the other track.
Open and close the garage door several times to distribute the oil to all components.

Warning
Do not use penetrating oil on roller tracks with nylon rollers.
The higher the speed setting on the door, the harder the opener has to push or pull the door when opening and closing. If the door is unbalanced or sticking, adjusting the speed does not correct this; the door must be serviced and adjusted by a professional.

Garage Door Troubleshooting Sensors
Hi
Hoping someone can help, my Gliderol GTS panel door fitted in December 2010with the newer type PCB, got itself in a not and was stopping below the height of the garage door opening. I contated Gliderol who emailed me the manual for setting the limits, followed the instructions and now none of the handsets work. it just beeps at me twice. I followed the procedure for reprogramming the handsets but still just two beeps and no movement from the door.
I have read some old threads regarding the older Gliderol GTS 2000 model but unable to find the solution.
When I started the reprogramming of the limits the door was in the open position (if this helps).
Gliderol are more than happy to come and look at it now it is out of it's 12 month warranty @ $99 for first 15min and then $22 for every 15mins after that + parts. So goodness how much that will cost.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated
