  • Hi there lovely Enscape community.

Below is the link to Greenview 3D.

Before I dash out and purchase those magnificant Eucalyptus tree models i thought it best to ask if they will be compatible with Enscape? SketchUp should not be a problem as far as I can tell. Install windows xp eee pc 701.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Cheers,

    Manuela

How have you been exporting in sketup to rhino? Because every time i bring a sketchup file to rhino, i get horrible meshes. Is there any way I can get a nice file without meshes from sketcup to rhino?

Because Google, who owns and writes SketchUp, has not released a 64-bit version of the SketchUP file reading SDK. They have also indicated that they intend never to do so, so we may be forced to come up with some other solution for 64-bit Rhino. The best way to get 3D I have found from sketchup to rhino is to use the obj export filter - this is a free download from the sketchup site. If you have textured the model the textures ride along with it and can be seen when rendered in rhino (V3 or 4).
